Las Vegas StripThe Las Vegas Strip is one of the landmarks of the city and the fun is that it is not really part of Las Vegas and is administratively subordinated to the suburbs Winchester and Paradise. The reason for this is that in the past, the construction of casinos were only allowed in the city center of Fremont Street, which forced a group of entrepreneurs to open casinos outside of Las Vegas. And the first one appeared in 1941, called “El Rancho Vegas” and it survival at this place for 20 years. The rapid development of the region, however, begins with the opening of the “Las Vegas Hilton” in 1969. Now there are a huge number of hotels, shops, casinos, etc.

In an attempt to be advertised as family destinations Vegas is still acrimonious to achieve bourgeois respectability, replacing its questionable public image of Sin City for future luxury, more indulgence of whims, rather than sinking into vice. This means that visitors will still find their amazing performances during dinner (featuring Debbie Reynolds, Siegfried and Roy, etc.) and can still attend class museums such as “Liberachi” (1775 E. Tropicana Avenue), “Elvis-A-Rama” (3401 Industrial Rd.) and the lively “Candlelight Wedding chapel” (2885 Las Vegas Boulevard South), which together with other twenty-five chapels of The Strip is the place for signing about 80,000 marriages each year.

Among these institutions, however, you will find a new breed of theme mega hotels like “Venice”, “Paris:, “Mandalay Bay” and “New York, New York”, who continue a tradition of great Vegas appropriating global icons and boosting them to incredible sizes. With them, however, Vegas excite the rich, so it’s no surprise that among its 225 hotels and 19 motels are among the 20 largest in the world, including “MGM Grand“, champion with 5000 rooms.

Everything is vivid and blatantly artificial, one non-stop working place where only money matter and if the casinos are too crowded at 2am, it simply means one thing: time to go shopping. You’ll love this place.
